Nelson SPCA is a registered charity. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to carry out our vital work in the community by way of donations and bequests.

Nelson SPCA provides shelter to thousands of animals every year. They come to us as unwanted, lost, abandoned, abused, wild and stray. These animals all require care, warmth, food, veterinary treatment, love and a chance to find a new home. We provide the best care possible for these animals, but this comes at a cost.

By donating to Nelson SPCA you are ensuring that our work in the region continues as we endeavour to rescue, reunite and re-home those who cannot speak for themselves, the animals.

What is HOPE?
HOPE is the Nelson SPCA's automatic payment donation scheme. It enables you to make a donation to the SPCA every month. It's the easy, convenient way to help us continue to do the work we do.

The money you donate through the HOPE scheme goes straight to the animals that need it. We get over 2,000 animals through our shelter each year.
HOPE helps to pay for their food, shelter and veterinary care. If you like, you can specify the type of animal you want to help.

HOPE keeps us going
HOPE monthly donations help us overcome fluctuations in our funding. As a HOPE supporter you're providing a consistent flow of income that goes directly to the care and feeding of the animals at our centre.
